Only the name is changing. Services will remain the same.
Bedford-Somerset DBHS provides support and services for Children to enhance the childās development, building upon natural learning.
Bedford-Somerset DBHS promotes supports and services for Adults that empower individual choice and preference, growth and development, community inclusion, freedom and success.
Through supports and services, Bedford-Somerset DBHS is committed to enhancing the Family life of those Children and Adults served.
It is the policy of Bedford-Somerset DBHS/Cornerstone Community Services to require the consent of both parents for children (13 years old and younger) whose parents are divorced, separated, not residing together, etc., for ALL levels of care. A copy of custody paperwork will be required, as available, for proof of legal custody (decision making rights, NOT physical custody). If custody paperwork is not available we will require both parents to provide written consent to treatment. Custody paperwork and/or parental consent from both parties is required BEFORE any appointments can be scheduled. The process to obtain the necessary paperwork and signatures will be discussed further at the first contact.
